Nuevo Laredo government supports local entrepreneurs through business training
The Nuevo Laredo Municipal Government is continuing its “Hecho en Nuevo Laredo” accompaniment plan, currently supporting a third generation of entrepreneurs. The initiative provides training and business strengthening tools designed to help local entrepreneurs identify opportunities, improve internal processes, and enhance business operations to foster a more competitive local economy.
The program operates through a partnership between the municipal government and private sector organizations, specifically the National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) in Nuevo Laredo. As part of this collaboration, CANACO President Agustín Simón Duarte Babiak led a training session titled “Fortalece tu Negocio desde Adentro” (Strengthen your Business from Within), which focused on optimizing project operations and identifying areas for improvement.
Ever Oceguera García, the director of Commerce, Employment, and SMEs, stated that the synergy between the government and the private sector directly benefits entrepreneurs by providing them with the resources necessary to professionalize their activities and contribute to the city's economic development.
