Municipalities implement diverse public infrastructure projects

Various municipalities across Latin America are implementing diverse public works and infrastructure projects to improve urban living standards.

In Argentina, Eduardo Castex has received 260 new LED luminaires, bringing its LED coverage to 61%. In Entre Ríos, Enersa has installed over 450 LED lights in San Benito to enhance security. Esquel has begun operating Module 2 of its waste treatment plant, while Ushuaia is preparing a new bidding process for its landfill management. Additionally, San Luis has renovated recreational spaces in the AMPPyA neighborhood, and Charata has expanded its potable water network in the Los Girasoles district.

In Mexico, the ITEA has signed a collaboration agreement in Nuevo Laredo to provide free basic education to maquiladora workers and their families. Meanwhile, in Huixquilucan, authorities have completed street repaving projects. In Aruba, technical teams repaired a major water pipe rupture on L. G. Smith Boulevard, restoring traffic after temporary diversions.

In Chile, new lighting projects have been inaugurated in Lo Valdivia and La Cruz to improve public safety and visibility in rural and urban sectors.
