Nuevo Laredo announces educational and business support programs

The municipal government of Nuevo Laredo, led by Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal, has launched two major initiatives to support local development. The 'Juntos por la Titulación Profesional 2026' scholarship program provides financial assistance to higher education graduates from 2016 to 2026 to help cover the costs of obtaining professional or postgraduate degrees. Applications for this scholarship are open until October 30, 2026.

Additionally, the 'MyPime Avanza: Juntos Emprendemos, Negocios que Transforman' program offers support to established micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. This initiative provides in-kind aid valued between 30,000 and 200,000 pesos, which can be used for machinery, tools, technological equipment, and other commercial goods to enhance operational capacity and competitiveness.
