Nuevo Laredo municipal government launches entrepreneurship program, tinaco aid and community outreach

The Nuevo Laredo municipal government inaugurated the third edition of the "Hecho en Nuevo Laredo" entrepreneurship support plan, training 50 local entrepreneurs in design‑thinking methods to strengthen business models.

In coordination with the state government, the city delivered 100 water storage tanks (tinacos) to vulnerable households, with the municipality handling installation to improve water security. Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas said, "We are committed to the well‑being of families and to ensuring access to clean water for all."

The administration also held a "Presidencia Cerquita de Ti" street‑level event in the Las Torres neighborhood, offering a range of services—tax assistance, legal advice, health consultations, and social program enrollment—directly to residents.

A separate "Municipio Cercano" session in La Niña provided educational talks on road safety, consumer rights, environmental recycling, and free rabies vaccinations for pets, further extending municipal contact with the community.
