Nuevo Laredo Youth Bazaar Draws Community to Parque Viveros

The municipal government of Nuevo Laredo, led by Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas, and the Institute for Youth Development (IMJUVE) are hosting a Bazar Joven on Friday, 17 July, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Parque Viveros. The event showcases products made by local young entrepreneurs, including fashion items, handicrafts, accessories, desserts and snacks. Organizers aim to stimulate youth entrepreneurship, provide a sales platform, and connect creators with new customers, contributing to the city’s economic development.

More than a hundred visitors are expected to browse the stalls, interact with the participants, and support the initiative, which has become a recurring forum for young people to display their talent and grow their businesses.

The city’s leadership emphasizes that the bazaar offers families a safe, family‑friendly environment to enjoy local creativity while promoting the broader goal of fostering sustainable, youth‑driven economic activity in Nuevo Laredo.
