Nusa Tenggara Timur earthquake victims receive 19 tons of aid

A total of 19 tons of humanitarian aid have been dispatched to assist communities affected by earthquakes in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). The relief effort is a collaborative initiative between the Citra Borneo Indah (CBI) Group, the Abdul Rasyid Foundation, and Laznas Yakesma.

The aid shipment departed from a logistics warehouse in Depok, West Java, on Thursday, September 11, and is being transported via land and sea routes to the affected regions in NTT. The supplies include essential items such as medicine, baby formula, rice, cooking oil, sugar, and shelter necessities like tarpaulins and blankets for those remaining in emergency tents.

Upon arrival in NTT, the supplies will be received by the Disaster Risk Management (DRM) team and Laznas Yakesma volunteers for distribution to those in need. Nicky Pitaloka, owner of CBI Group, stated that the contribution aims to alleviate the suffering of disaster victims, while Laznas Yakesma CEO Romdlon Hidayat emphasized the organization's commitment to professional and targeted distribution.
