Nusron Wahid and Natalius Pigai rated worst performing ministers
A survey by Matriks Politik Indonesia evaluating the first two years of the Prabowo-Gibran administration has identified Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai and Agrarian Affairs/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Minister Nusron Wahid as the worst-performing cabinet members.
Natalius Pigai received a negative rating of 82.6 percent, driven by various controversies and legal challenges from ministry employees. Nusron Wahid received a negative rating of 78.3 percent. The scrutiny regarding Wahid is linked to an ongoing Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigation into alleged bribery involving land use rights (HGB) in Bogor Regency.
Wahid has missed two scheduled summons from the KPK to testify as a witness, citing ministerial duties. While the KPK is considering further actions, including a summons to bring the witness, critics have questioned the agency's decisiveness. Other ministers with notable negative ratings include Dody Hanggodo (75.2 percent), Yandri Susanto (68.2 percent), Bahlil Lahadalia (65.7 percent), and Maruarar Sirait (60.7 percent).
