NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 support arrives for Gears of War: E-Day and new titles
Several major video game titles are rolling out updates and new phases this week, with a significant focus on NVIDIA’s DLSS 4.5 technology.
Gears of War: E-Day has launched its free multiplayer beta for all players on Xbox Series X|S and PC, running through August 17. The beta features the Horde Siege mode and an updated 4v4 Versus mode. The full release, scheduled for October 2026, will utilize the complete DLSS 4.5 suite.
Other notable releases and updates include the launch of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, which features DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, and No More Room in Hell 2, which has exited early access. Additionally, Phantom Blade Zero is now available for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Games Store, offering ray tracing and DLSS 4.5 support for GeForce RTX users.
In a separate development, Electronic Arts is hosting a free trial week for Battlefield 6 from August 18 to August 25, 2026. To access the trial, players must download the free-to-play version, Battlefield: REDSEC. The event includes a Top Gun crossover, featuring new aircraft and themed modes.
