Nvidia launches RTX Spark AI PC platform with Arm‑based N1X processor

Nvidia unveiled its Arm‑based N1X AI PC processor and the RTX Spark platform at Computex 2026, targeting next‑generation Windows laptops from Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, MSI and others. The N1X combines Nvidia’s Blackwell GPU architecture with a custom Arm CPU and up to 128 GB of unified memory, while RTX Spark promises up to one petaflop of AI performance and the ability to run 120‑billion‑parameter language models locally.

The announcement positions Nvidia to enter the premium AI‑workstation segment of the PC market, where devices are expected to handle heavy local AI workloads such as development, engineering and content creation. Analysts project the AI PC market could grow at a 38 % CAGR through 2030, with AI‑enabled premium laptops potentially accounting for more than 60 % of shipments by 2028. RTX Spark‑enabled machines are expected to start above $2,000, creating a new high‑end tier above mainstream AI‑PCs built on Intel, AMD and Qualcomm chips. Adoption will depend on enterprise pricing, performance, and the pace of software integration.
