NVIDIA launches RTX Spark AI superchip for Windows PCs
NVIDIA unveiled its RTX Spark platform at Computex 2026, a hybrid system‑on‑chip that pairs a 20‑core Grace Arm‑based CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU. The chip delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance, supports up to 128 GB of unified memory, and can run on‑device large language models with up to 120 billion parameters, generate 4K AI video, and handle complex 3D scenes.
The company is partnering with Microsoft and major PC makers—including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Surface—to integrate RTX Spark into premium Windows laptops and mini‑desktops. While the platform emphasizes creator‑focused workloads such as photo and video editing, it also includes gaming features like DLSS 4.5 and ray reconstruction, positioning it as a versatile AI workstation rather than a pure gaming upgrade.
