NVIDIA launches RTX Spark ARM‑based laptop processor with 20‑core CPU and 6,144 GPU cores

NVIDIA unveiled its RTX Spark system‑on‑chip at the Computex 2026 GTC keynote. Co‑developed with MediaTek and fabricated on TSMC’s 3 nm process, the chip integrates a 20‑core ARM Grace CPU, a Blackwell GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores, fifth‑generation Tensor cores and up to 128 GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. It adds a native runtime layer for kernel‑level anti‑cheat engines, aiming to break Qualcomm’s dominance in the Windows‑on‑ARM market and challenge Apple Silicon.

Prototype laptops equipped with the RTX Spark were demonstrated, showing real‑time ray‑traced rendering and gaming performance in titles such as Pragmata and Alan Wake 2, with features like DLSS 4.5, Multiframe Generation and Ray Reconstruction. NVIDIA noted that the laptops are still in prototype stage, so detailed performance numbers were not released. The high‑end configuration is expected to retail in Malaysia for roughly RM 18,000–21,000 due to limited LPDDR5X supply.
