NVIDIA prepares RTX Spark ARM chips for Windows 11 with Apple‑close performance
NVIDIA announced that its upcoming RTX Spark system‑on‑chip, built on an ARM architecture and developed with MediaTek, will support the RTX NTC graphics technology on Windows 11 ARM. The integration is intended to deliver higher graphics performance, better energy efficiency and compatibility with advanced applications on Windows devices.
Benchmark data from Geekbench 7 shows the RTX Spark SoC narrowing the gap with Apple’s M4 Max. In a 20‑core configuration the chip scored 2,570 points in single‑core and 23,126 points in multi‑core tests, placing it within about 11 % of the M4 Max’s multi‑core score. The GPU, based on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, is expected to feature up to 6,144 CUDA cores, comparable to desktop RTX 5070/3080 cards, though real‑world thermal and graphics performance remains to be validated.
