NVIDIA readies RTX Spark Arm PCs with Windows 11 drivers

NVIDIA has released the first native GPU drivers for Windows 11 Arm64, aimed at its upcoming RTX Spark Arm‑based computers. The driver package reveals two N1X GPU configurations – a higher‑end Blackwell chip with 6,144 cores and a slightly lower‑spec version with 5,120 cores – and includes support for the company’s DLA‑based NPU for AI workloads.

The RTX Spark systems, such as the Surface Laptop Ultra and Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, are expected to ship with up to 20 custom Arm cores, up to 128 GB of unified memory, and a focus on running local AI models alongside traditional software. Windows 11 26H1 will add workload‑profile scheduling, refined memory management, and a Power‑and‑Thermal Framework to balance performance and efficiency, while Prism emulation is slated to run most existing x64 applications and games. Launch is targeted for the holiday season in fall 2024.
