NVIDIA releases RTX Spark ARM driver and CUDA 13.4 toolkit for Windows 11

NVIDIA announced the first native GeForce driver for Windows 11 on ARM (version 616.00, developer preview) aimed at the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box. The driver package reveals two RTX Spark configurations – N1X 675 with a Blackwell GPU featuring 6,144 CUDA cores paired with a 20‑core ARM CPU, and N1X 650 with 5,120 CUDA cores and an 18‑core ARM CPU – both supporting up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X unified memory.

Alongside the driver, NVIDIA published a preliminary CUDA 13.4 toolkit that runs natively on Windows ARM64 and ARM64EC. The toolkit lets developers compile, test, and optimize games and AI workloads for the upcoming hardware without needing a physical RTX Spark system. Early partners such as SEGA have already begun preparing titles for the platform. No consumer‑grade devices are currently available; the hardware remains limited to developer units.
