Nvidia unveils AI‑focused PC superchips, sparking market shift toward physical AI and boosting LG stock

Nvidia announced a new line of AI‑optimized superchips for personal computers, designed to run large language models locally and cut reliance on cloud services. The launch challenges the long‑standing x86 duopoly of Intel and AMD and aims to compete with Apple’s M‑series processors by offering higher performance and lower latency for AI workloads on desktops and laptops.

At the same time, LG Electronics saw its shares jump after a meeting between its chairman and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the company’s role in the emerging "physical AI" market. Analysts note that LG’s portfolio of sensors, batteries, telecom equipment and robotics positions it to supply the hardware needed to bring AI into factories, warehouses, vehicles and homes, shifting investor focus from pure semiconductor power to end‑to‑end AI infrastructure.
