Nvidia unveils RTX Spark roadmap and RTX 5090 lineup at Computex 2026
At Computex 2026, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed that the RTX Spark processor family will expand beyond the initial N1X chip with new N2X and N3X variants already planned, signalling a long‑term strategy to enter the PC silicon market. Huang also hinted at a smaller N1 version and expressed tentative support for a pocket‑sized gaming device if partners pursue it, while noting anti‑cheat compatibility as a key challenge.
The same event showcased a flood of GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards from partners such as ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and PNY. Despite the variety of designs—ranging from triple‑fan coolers to water‑cooling kits—the flagship GPU remains in chronic shortage, with retail prices soaring to €3,000‑€3,800, far above its launch price of €2,349. Manufacturers emphasized improved cooling and quieter operation, but the high demand and limited supply keep the RTX 5090 largely unavailable to consumers.
