Nyesom Wike orders closure of FCT house sales secretariat

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has ordered the immediate closure of the Secretariat of the dissolved Ad-hoc Committee on the Sale of Federal Government Houses (SFGH).

Following the completion of the committee’s assignment, a new division has been established within the Department of Land Administration to take over all responsibilities regarding the sale of Federal Government Houses in the FCT. The FCT Administration has advised the public to direct all inquiries and property-related matters to the Department of Land Administration.

Authorities have issued a warning to residents and prospective buyers to beware of fraudsters posing as staff or members of the defunct committee or its Secretariat. The administration emphasized that the committee and its Secretariat no longer exist.
