O2 offers discounted Movistar Plus+ and €0 handsets

O2, a Telefónica brand, has announced new benefits for its customers, including a discounted rate for the Movistar Plus+ streaming service. Customers on ‘Solo Fibra’ and convergent plans without television can now subscribe to the OTT platform for €6 per month, a reduction from the standard €9.99 price. The service provides access to over 80 channels, including original productions, films, series, and sports content such as LaLiga EA Sports, LaLiga Hypermotion, and select Champions League and Premier League matches.

Additionally, O2 is expanding its device program. Customers with monthly tariffs starting at €40 can now access a selection of handsets for €0. This program includes free delivery, no minimum contract period, and a four-year warranty. The Samsung Galaxy A17 is noted as the first 5G device available under this €0 monthly condition. O2 Director Mariano Domecq stated that these developments aim to reinforce the company’s commitment to being a gateway to digital technologies.
