OASTH hires 171 bus drivers in Thessaloniki

The Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization (OASTH) announced an immediate recruitment drive for 171 bus drivers. The contracts are private‑law, fixed‑term positions lasting eight months. For the first time, candidates who hold a diploma from mandatory driver education can apply, expanding the pool of eligible professionals.

Applications open on 29 June and close on 21 July. Candidates must have a valid professional driving licence for the appropriate vehicle category and a Certificate of Professional Competence (PEI). OASTH President and CEO Kostas Taggiris urged drivers to join, stating, "We are hiring 171 new drivers and call on professional drivers to become part of the OASTH family to improve the city’s transport service."
