Oaxaca government distributes Tarjeta Margarita Maza support in Istmo region

The Government of Oaxaca, led by Governor Salomón Jara Cruz, has distributed support through the Tarjeta Margarita Maza program to 813 female heads of household in the Istmo de Tehuantepec region. This specific distribution involved an investment of 4,878,000 pesos aimed at supporting the families managed by these women.

Vilma Martínez Cortés, the Secretary of Welfare, Tequio, and Inclusion, stated that 250 million pesos have been allocated to the Tarjeta Margarita Maza program across the entire state of Oaxaca for 2026. The initiative is designed to strengthen household economies and provide financial stability for women facing primary family expenses.
