Oaxaca government hosts FOMENTA 2026 business meeting

The Government of Oaxaca, through the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco), held the third edition of FOMENTA 2026, a business meeting designed to connect local producers with new markets. The event brought together more than 300 companies from the eight regions of the state and 26 national and local buyers.

Unlike traditional trade fairs, FOMENTA 2026 focused on finalizing business deals and providing commercial tools. The event facilitated approximately 500 commercial appointments. Additionally, the program included training sessions and conferences on topics such as e-commerce, digital sales, profitability, packaging, shelf life, and government procurement.

Economic Development Secretary Raúl Ruiz Robles emphasized that the initiative aims to transform local production into tangible business opportunities and growth for the state's enterprises.
