Overview

The government of Oaxaca has implemented initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth through business networking and academic alignment.

In late September 2026, the Secretariat of Economic Development hosted the third edition of FOMENTA 2026. This business meeting connected over 300 local companies with national and local buyers to facilitate commercial deals and provide training in areas such as e-commerce and digital sales.
