Oaxaca Governor distributes social support to women

Oaxaca Governor Salomón Jara Cruz led the distribution of support through the Tarjeta Margarita Maza and Tandas Mujer Primavera programs, benefiting over 1,600 women in the Valles Centrales region.

Vilma Martínez Cortés, head of the Secretaría de Bienestar, Tequio e Inclusión (Sebienti), reported that 854 Margarita Maza cards were issued to heads of households in extreme poverty. Each beneficiary receives 6,000 pesos semiannually, totaling 12,000 pesos per year, representing an investment of over 10 million pesos.

Additionally, 822 microcredits were distributed via the Tandas Mujer Primavera program. This included 521 new credits of 5,000 pesos and 301 expanded credits of 10,000 pesos, totaling an investment of 5.615 million pesos with zero percent interest.
