Oaxaca state and Santa Lucía del Camino unveil urban renovation projects

Governor Salomón Jara Cruz and Oaxaca de Juárez mayor Ray Chagoya inaugurated the rehabilitation of the Mirador del Cerro del Fortín. The project added carved stone letters with ancestral iconography, a QR code for visitors and plans to replicate the design at other sites.

In Santa Lucía del Camino, municipal president Juan Carlos García Márquez reported ongoing paving works on Lázaro Cárdenas and Juárez avenues, tree planting and new pedestrian lighting. He also highlighted the reopening of the historic church of Santa Lucía, restored with support from the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).
