Oben Electric leads India’s electric motorcycle registrations in September

Oben Electric became India’s top-selling electric motorcycle brand in September 2026, according to Vahan national vehicle registration data. The Bengaluru-based manufacturer recorded 1,417 registrations during the month, marking its highest monthly total to date.

The company attributed much of this growth to its Rorr Evo model. Alongside these sales figures, Oben Electric reached a production milestone, with its 10,000th motorcycle rolling off the assembly line at its Bengaluru manufacturing facility. The 3.5-acre plant has a stated annual capacity of 100,000 units.

Oben Electric develops and manufactures several key components in-house, including LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers, and software. The company currently operates a retail and service network of more than 150 showrooms and service centers across 18 states and over 90 cities.
