OBS Studio releases version 33.0 Release Candidate

OBS Studio has released the Release Candidate (RC) for version 33.0 following six beta testing phases. This update introduces significant structural changes, including a complete overhaul of the plugin loading process. First-party plugins are now located in a new “Core” folder, and third-party plugins have received a revised folder structure.

Key technical improvements include updated frameworks for browser sources and docks, enhanced source alignment in the preview window, and improved handling of rotation fields for numerical values. The update also adds support for the latest NVIDIA Broadcast SDKs for audio and video effects.

Other notable changes involve improved full-screen game detection for recordings, better transparency handling for screen recording on macOS, and fixes for group-related issues in Studio Mode. Notably, support for Ubuntu 24.04 has been removed in this version.
