OGC Nice announces departure of training center deputy director Fabien Caballero

OGC Nice has announced the departure of Fabien Caballero, the deputy director of its training center. The club stated that the decision to end their collaboration was made by mutual agreement as part of an internal restructuring of the sports sector, specifically targeting the training center and recruitment unit.

Caballero joined the club in January 2025 from Olympique Lyonnais to serve as the right-hand man to training center director Julien Sablé. His role primarily involved the recruitment of young talent and the development of the academy. His exit coincides with a broader overhaul of the club’s scouting and development strategy for upcoming seasons.
