Various autumn pumpkin festivals and art events are taking place across Ohio.

In Lake Zurich, Jack-O’-Lantern World returns to Paulus Park for its sixth year. The event features a three-quarter-mile trail through seven acres of illuminated, hand-carved pumpkins. Highlights include a 40-foot whale, a 40-foot mustang, and a 2,220-pound pumpkin. The festival includes a ‘Museum of Incredible Jack-O’-Lantern Art’ and displays created by over 50 artists.

Westerville is hosting the Great Westerville Pumpkin Glow at Heritage Park from October 15 to 18, 2026. This family-oriented event focuses on light and seasonal play rather than horror, featuring artist-carved pumpkins and themed displays.

Other regional activities include Operation Pumpkin in Hamilton, which showcases large-scale pumpkin sculptures, and the Blink Festival of Art & Light in downtown Cincinnati.
