Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno Introduces Bill to End Birthright Citizenship

The proposal seeks to repeal automatic citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants, impose a cap on refugee admissions, overhaul the asylum system, and streamline deportations. Moreno cited the late Nevada Senator Harry Reid, who introduced a similar measure in 1993, and framed the legislation as a response to the Court’s ruling in Trump v. Barbara.
