OKTAGON MMA and DAZN announce global broadcast partnership

OKTAGON MMA and DAZN have announced a new broadcast partnership intended to expand the reach of the European mixed martial arts promotion to more than 150 markets. The deal includes major upcoming events such as OKTAGON 93 in Brno, the flagship stadium event at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt on September 26, and the OKTAGON 100 anniversary event in Prague on December 29.

Despite the global scale of the agreement, the partnership does not apply to several specific markets. In Germany, existing local broadcasting agreements with RTL+ remain in effect and will not be replaced by the DAZN deal. Other excluded regions include Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Greece, Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Brazil, Iceland, and various Scandinavian markets.
