Ole Miss signs seven-year apparel and NIL deal with adidas

Ole Miss athletics has finalized a seven-year partnership with adidas, marking the end of a 27-year relationship with Nike. The agreement, which runs from July 1, 2027, through June 2034, establishes adidas as the official provider of footwear, uniforms, apparel, and sideline gear for all 18 of the Rebels' varsity programs.

A key component of the deal is a transformative investment in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) infrastructure. Under the new agreement, Ole Miss athletes will be eligible to participate in affiliate marketing opportunities through the adidas NIL Ambassador Network to assist in talent recruitment and retention.

While the university retains central control over the creative design process, the transition raises questions regarding the future of the program's iconic uniform looks, such as the powder blue jerseys. Athletic Director Keith Carter emphasized that the partnership aims to honor traditional colors and marks while elevating the student-athlete experience.
