Oliveri, Sicily hit by double earthquake
Two earthquakes struck the Sicily region near Oliveri in the province of Messina on Tuesday morning. The first tremor, measuring 3.7 magnitude, occurred at 10:07 AM at a depth of 9 km. A second tremor of 3.3 magnitude followed just 37 seconds later.
The seismic activity was felt across the Tyrrhenian coast, including areas from Patti to Capo d’Orlando. Reports of the tremors also reached Campo Calabro in the province of Reggio Calabria. No injuries or property damage have been reported following the events.
