Olsztyn advances sports infrastructure with new football hall and stadium project

The city of Olsztyn is expanding its local sports infrastructure through two significant developments. Naki Olsztyn, a football club celebrating its 30th anniversary, has opened a second football hall at the Naki Football Park. The new facility, located at Tuwima 22, includes a full-size artificial turf pitch and will allow for year-round training regardless of weather conditions. The club, which has grown from 15 members to approximately 700–800 players, aims to maintain its position in the IV league.

Simultaneously, the city has signed a contract for the reconstruction and expansion of the Olsztyn City Stadium. The agreement, signed by representatives of Hala Olsztyn and PIG Architekci, involves a project valued at nearly 10 million PLN with a 10-month timeline for design and documentation. The project includes detailed concepts, construction designs, and obtaining building permits, as well as providing support during the construction tender and authorial supervision during implementation. The goal is to create a multifunctional facility serving both football fans, such as those of Stomil Olsztyn, and the general public.
