Olsztyn sports infrastructure development
Overview
The city of Olsztyn is expanding its sports facilities through several distinct projects. Initially, the Naki Olsztyn football club opened a second football hall at Naki Football Park, featuring a full-size artificial turf pitch for year-round training. Concurrently, the city entered a contract valued at nearly 10 million PLN for the design, documentation, and reconstruction of the Olsztyn City Stadium to create a multifunctional facility.
Further development is also underway at the former Warmia Olsztyn stadium site on Zatorze. This training center project, valued at over 42 million PLN, has reached several construction milestones. Current work includes concreting stand ceilings and ground-floor walls, installing foundations for lighting masts, and setting up drainage systems for the future pitch.
