Olsztyn launches integrated ‘Nasz Olsztyn’ mobile application

The city of Olsztyn has officially launched ‘Nasz Olsztyn’, an integrated mobile application designed to centralize various municipal digital services. The platform aims to allow residents to handle most administrative matters remotely, reducing the need for in-person visits to the city hall.

Key features of the application include a transport module for purchasing public transit tickets and tracking the real-time location of buses and trams. It also features an ‘e-wallet’ for paying parking fees in the Paid Parking Zone and provides access to tickets for events organized by municipal institutions. Additionally, the app will distribute official communications from the City Office.

A central component of the strategy is to reward local residents. Users who reside in Olsztyn and pay their taxes within the city can verify their status through the app to receive a special package of benefits and discounts. This initiative is part of the broader ‘Digital Olsztyn 2.0’ project, which seeks to enhance communication between the local administration and its citizens.
