Olympia London reopens following £1.3 billion redevelopment
The historic Olympia landmark in West Kensington has officially opened to the public following a £1.3 billion transformation. The redevelopment aims to establish the site as a major destination for entertainment, culture, and hospitality, with further openings scheduled throughout 2026 and 2027.
As part of the venue's operations, facilities provider ABM has been appointed to manage integrated facilities solutions. The contract involves a 90-strong team providing specialist services to support the estate's exhibitions and performance calendar. The regeneration project is projected to inject more than £600 million into the UK economy and attract an estimated annual footfall of 10 million visitors.
New additions to the area include the 204-room Hyatt Regency London Olympia and the British Airways ARC, a live music venue with a 3,800-person capacity. Other developments include Arbour, a 9,000-square-foot food hall, and Wolves of Tokyo, a Japanese restaurant and rooftop cocktail bar.
