Olympiacos' Andre Luiz attracts MLS and European suitors

Olympiacos' 24‑year‑old Brazilian forward Andre Luiz, signed in January for roughly €7 million, is the focus of renewed transfer interest. English clubs, notably Wolves, as well as Portuguese sides Benfica and Porto, have been monitoring his progress, while MLS club Kansas City is reported to be in advanced negotiations, potentially offering $18‑20 million for the player.

Kansas City, led by new majority owner Peter Malouk, is also pursuing Ivorian winger Yann Gboho, with the MLS side positioned as the favorite among several offers, including speculative interest from Saudi Arabia. The high price tag could see Luiz’s value triple if he moves to the United States.
