Olympiacos bolsters squad with multiple signings ahead of new season

Olympiacos announced the return of Greek forward Kostas Fortounis on a 2+1‑year contract and secured defender Dimitris Stournaras on a three‑year deal after his release from Iraklis. The club is in talks to sign Montenegrin goalkeeper Balša Popović, the Serbian league’s best keeper last season, and has agreed in principle to bring Spanish defender Pablo Mafeo from Spain for a reported €2.7 million.

Olympiacos is also evaluating several other targets, including left‑backs Andrea Pedrosa (Sevilla) and Charalampos Lyokoyannis (free from Bologna), wingers such as Mika Marmol, and a central defender currently unattached. Additionally, the club is considering Portuguese right‑back Tiago Santos, who joined Lille from Estoril in 2023 for about €6.5 million and is under contract until 2029, though injuries have limited his recent appearances.
