Olympiacos captain Kostas Papanakolaou hails ‘wolf pack’ season

Olympiacos captain Kostas Papanikolaou posted a celebratory message after the club’s trophy‑laden campaign. He called the team’s “pack of wolves” for securing the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League title, following victories in the EuroLeague and the Super Cup. The captain thanked physicians, physiotherapists, equipment staff, management and fans for their support throughout the season.

Papanikolaou also said he wants to remain with Olympiacos, describing the year as “exceptional, very demanding and full of ups and downs,” and praised rivals such as Panathinaikos for highlighting the team’s strength. He emphasized the collective effort of the squad and expressed a personal desire to continue his contract with the club.
