Giorgos Bartzokas extends contract with Olympiacos to 2029

Olympiacos announced that head coach Giorgos Bartzokas will remain in charge until the summer of 2029, signing a new three‑year contract. The club highlighted his role in recent successes, including the 2026 EuroLeague championship and the current Greek league title, adding that he has previously guided the team to two EuroLeague crowns (2013, 2026), four Greek championships, three Greek Cups and four Super Cups.

Club presidents Panagiotis and George Angelopoulos said the extension is “the continuation of a common path” and praised the stability and vision Bartzokas brings. Bartzokas described Olympiacos as “more than a professional roof – it is my team, my home” and pledged, “We continue humble and hungry.”

The deal, reported to raise his salary to about €2 million per year (≈ €6 million total), signals Olympiacos’ intention to keep its winning formula as it looks to add further European and domestic titles.
