Olympiacos eyes major transfers as Dubai pursues Thomas Walkup and Stancic

Olympiacos is actively shaping its squad for the new season. Negotiations continue for goalkeeper Konstantinos Zolaki, whose move to a Premier League club is still unfinalised, while talks with Sevilla over midfielder Osso have stalled. The club reached an agreement to sell Bulgarian defender Stancic to Ludogorets for a fee that could reach €10 million, but a self‑appointed family representative demanded an additional €600,000 and a doubled salary, creating a dispute over the terms.

Veteran forward Thomas Walkup is also at the centre of transfer speculation. Dubai clubs have shown interest, and Olympiacos has set a €3 million buy‑out figure. Walkup, who is under contract for the next season and due to earn about €1.1 million, is seeking a higher salary, potentially above €1.5 million. The Greek club is prepared to negotiate a new contract but negotiations have frozen as the parties cannot agree on the buy‑out amount.
