Olympiacos Finalizes Transfer of Montenegrin Goalkeeper Balša Popović

Olympiacos has reached a definitive agreement to sign 26‑year‑old Montenegrin goalkeeper Balša Popović. The Greek club and Serbian side Red Star Belgrade settled the remaining negotiation points, confirming a transfer fee of roughly €1.5 million. The deal also includes a 10 % resale clause for Red Star.

Popović, who stands 1.94 m tall and is right‑footed, has been on loan at OFK Beograd, playing over 100 matches. He earned recognition as the best goalkeeper in Serbia’s SuperLiga and made his Montenegro debut in March 2025. The transfer completes Olympiacos’ goalkeeping trio alongside Konstantinos Zoulakas and Srdjan Stojanović.
