Olympiacos seeks new striker after Ayoub El Kaabi injury

Olympiacos striker Ayoub El Kaabi has undergone surgery following a serious injury sustained during a match against Volos. The Moroccan forward suffered a tibia fracture after a collision with goalkeeper Mario Siapanis at the end of the first half.

The injury has forced Olympiacos to re-evaluate its attacking options and enter the transfer market for reinforcements. While the club previously expected Leon Bailey to be its final signing, the situation has changed. Potential targets being considered include Salcedo and Andrea Belotti, though the latter is also recovering from a major injury.
