Olympiacos beats Fortuna Sittard 3-1, loses to Ajax 1-0 and completes Diagisi signing

Olympiacos played three pre‑season friendlies in the Netherlands. On 17 July the Greek side defeated Fortuna Sittard 3‑1; newcomer Zota Silva scored a hat‑trick, adding a penalty in the second half. A day later the team lost 1‑0 to Ajax at the club’s training centre in Amsterdam, the only goal coming from Enbartsen in the 80th minute. During the same period Olympiacos announced the signing of 19‑year‑old midfielder Diagisi from Volos, completing the youngster’s move to the Piraeus club. The club’s schedule also includes upcoming friendlies against Anderlecht and Alkmaar as coach José Luis Mendilibar continues to test the squad, including debutants Joël Roca and other recent acquisitions.
