FC Nantes sees Mostafa Mohamed depart for Konyaspor and signs Ryad Hachem
FC Nantes has completed several significant roster changes during the summer transfer window. The club has officially announced the departure of Egyptian international striker Mostafa Mohamed to the Turkish club Konyaspor for approximately one million euros. This transfer represents a net financial loss of five million euros for Nantes, which had previously acquired the 26-year-old for six million euros in 2022.
The departure follows a period of tension between the player and the club, including instances where Mohamed refused to participate in club events and was subsequently fined and sidelined.
To bolster the squad, FC Nantes has signed midfielder Ryad Hachem from Red Star on a three-year contract. Hachem, a 28-year-old Franco-Algerian, joins as the club's eighth summer recruit, bringing experience from Ligue 2 to strengthen the team's left flank.
