Omar De Felippe appointed as new Talleres de Córdoba head coach
Talleres de Córdoba has appointed Omar De Felippe as its new head coach, replacing Jorge Sampaoli. The 64-year-old manager takes over the team while it sits in last place in Zone A of the Clausura tournament.
De Felippe arrives with significant experience in Argentine football, most recently leading Central Córdoba to the 2024 Copa Argentina title and competing in the 2025 Copa Libertadores. His previous achievements include winning the Ecuadorian championship with Emelec and securing promotions with Olimpo and Independiente.
His official presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, and he is expected to make his debut this Saturday, September 5, in an away match against San Lorenzo at the Nuevo Gasómetro.
