OMODA and JAECOO unveil OMODA 5 NEXT and smart mobility technologies

OMODA and JAECOO have introduced the OMODA 5 NEXT, making its European debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Developed under the “DRIVE TO THE NEXT” philosophy, the model features a sporty coupe silhouette, a SHS-H Super Hybrid system, and advanced smart technologies designed to align with modern lifestyle expectations.

As part of the Chery 2026 International User Summit in Wuhu, China, the brands are also testing new intelligent systems. These include the SIVP parking system, which allows drivers to remotely summon their vehicle from a parking lot and enables autonomous parking in tight spaces. Additionally, the company is demonstrating the SIAS artificial intelligence system, which is designed to understand natural language, user habits, and emotional expressions to facilitate more intuitive communication between the driver and the vehicle.
