Omoda and Jetour debut new hybrid SUVs at Festival Interlagos

During the Festival Interlagos in São Paulo, automotive brands Omoda & Jaecoo and Jetour showcased new plug-in hybrid SUV models for the Brazilian market.

Omoda & Jaecoo presented the Omoda 7 SHS-P, a hybrid SUV featuring a 1.5 TGDI engine paired with an electric motor. The vehicle produces 279 hp and 37.2 kgfm of torque, with an electric-only range of up to 60 kilometers according to Inmetro cycles. The model includes an 18.4 kWh battery and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds.

Jetour debuted the G700, a high-performance luxury plug-in hybrid SUV. The G700 utilizes a 2.0 turbo engine combined with two electric motors to deliver a total of 905 hp and 1,135 Nm of torque. This configuration allows for a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 4.8 seconds. The vehicle is designed with off-road capabilities, including a 900 mm water wading depth.
