Omoda & Jaecoo enters Italy's top 10 automotive market

Omoda & Jaecoo, a brand under the Chery Group, entered the top 10 of the Italian automotive market in August 2026. With 2,883 registrations, the brand secured the ninth position and was the top-performing Chinese brand in the country during that month.

Globally, the brand reported significant growth, selling 65,576 vehicles in August, a 101.7% increase compared to August 2025. Electrified models accounted for 49,712 units, representing a 167.5% increase. The Jaecoo 5 was the brand's most successful model worldwide, with 29,520 units sold.

In the United Kingdom, Omoda & Jaecoo reached second place in the market with 6,238 registrations, capturing a 6.62% market share. The brand is scheduled to preview the new Omoda 4 at the Turin Auto Show from September 11 to 13.
