The Chinese automaker Omoda & Jaecoo posted its best monthly performance in Brazil in June, registering 4,830 vehicle registrations – a 52% increase from May – and climbing to 14th place in the national sales ranking. The growth came while the overall Brazilian auto market fell 1% month‑on‑month.

The Omoda 5 led the hybrid (HEV) segment with 1,928 registrations, securing the top spot, while the Jaecoo 7 placed third among plug‑in hybrids (PHEV) with 2,729 units. CEO Hu Peng said the results “reinforce the strategy and growth potential of the brand in Brazil,” and executive vice‑president Roger Corassa highlighted the models’ appeal to consumer demand for electrified, technology‑rich mobility.

Globally, Omoda & Jaecoo sold 75,102 vehicles in June 2026, up 178% year‑on‑year, with new‑energy vehicles (NEV) accounting for 56,188 units – a 310% increase from the previous year.
